For Your Comfort

This space is thoughtfully prepared for two adults only, ensuring an intimate and peaceful escape.

Please ensure the only guests who stay overnight are those listed in your reservation and no parties or events are to be held on the property without written prior permission from the host.

We are unable to accommodate infants/children or pets/animals.

Check in and Check out Times

Check in is between 3:00pm and 9:00pm on the day of your arrival and the host will meet you with the key upon your arrival.

Check out is prior to 10:00am on the day of your departure.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation over 14 days before check-in – full refund minus the transaction fee.
  • Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before check-in – 50% refund of the booking value minus the transaction fee.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in no refund will be provided.

A Breath of Fresh Air

To preserve the purity and fire safety of the surroundings, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.  Smoking or vaping inside the cottage will incur a $150 cleaning fee.

Fireside Moments

Enjoy the warmth of the indoor fire or outdoor fire pit.

The cottage is located in a bushfire zone.  Please ensure any actions you take using the wood fire or fire pit do not pose any risks that could potentially cause a fire to the cottage, its contents, or the surrounding property.

Indoor wood fire

  • Let the host know your experience before your arrival and use.
  • Wood is provided for the number of nights booked in winter or, if unseasonably cold in the shoulder seasons. Wood is not supplied to continuously burn all day and night.
  • In other seasons, check with the host and if bringing your own wood a $30 cleaning fee applies.
  • Do not empty hot ashes or coals from the fire box.
  • Ensure the fire is dying down before checkout.

Outdoor fire pit

  • Check with the host beforehand and ensure the weather conditions and fire danger ratings allow for a fire to be lit outdoors.
  • The firepit is NOT TO BE USED on declared total fire ban days or on extremely windy days. If in doubt, please check with your host.
  • You will need to supply your own wood for the firepit.
  • You can collect and use kindling and small sticks from the ground around the cottage in the fire pit, but please do not break any wood regardless of size, on the concrete steps near the fire pit as it will damage the concrete edge.
  • The firewood provided for use in the cottage is not to be used in the fire pit. You will not have enough wood for your stay.
  • For your peace of mind and safety, never leave the actively burning fire unattended.
  • Ensure the fire has died down before leaving it unattended.
  • Never use water to extinguish the fire.
  • Failure to follow the above rules may result in your stay being terminated.

Care & Consideration

We kindly ask you to treat the cottage with care.  No food or drinks in bed as spills or stains on the linen will incur an extra $30 cleaning charge and permanent damage will incur a replacement fee.

Only pee, poo and toilet paper in the toilet and no fats or oils poured down the sink to protect our waste treatment system.

Before You Depart

Leave the space as neat, clean and serene as you found it.  A light tidy before departure is appreciated i.e. dishes washed, surfaces wiped, coffee machine and barbecue cleaned and the indoor fire dying out.

Security Cameras

Three external cameras are in place to monitor the exterior of the cabin only. They will not impact on your privacy and any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the cameras will result in termination of your stay.
